Greg Sampson, Creative Director
Greg has 20-plus years experience in healthcare communications. An award winning art director, writer and strategic partner. Greg was previously creative director / partner at SSW Communications in San Francisco, where he was instrumental in several product launches for Genentech, including Activase for stroke, Pulmozyme for COPD, and Nutropin for growth hormone deficiency. He also developed SSW's Corporate Communications division, which specialized in corporate branding, promotional campaigns, and annual reports for Genentech, Gilead, Deltagen and Exelixis.
Prior to SSW, Greg was Vice President, Associate Creative Director at FCB HealthCare. Among his achievements at FCB were the successful launch of Genentech's Activase and Pulmozyme, and Syntex-P&G's Aleve. Greg is most proud of the "Art.Rage.Us" work he created for The Breast Cancer Fund, which won Best of Show in the Medical Marketing Association's In Awe Awards. He served on The Breast Cancer Fund's Board of Directors for 5 years.
Currently Greg provides creative solutions for both healthcare clients and advertising agencies.
David Lumsden, Strategy/Copy
David Lumsden has been a Copywriter/Creative Director/Executive Vice President in major international advertising agencies since the late 1970s. These agencies include Klemtner/Compton, Vicom/FCB and Lowe Advertising. In 1996, he co-founded Biocore Advertising in San Francisco, which was subsequently acquired by Lowe Advertising. After the acquisition, he served as Executive Vice President/Creative Director of Lowe Biocore.
Mr. Lumsden's extensive list of client companies served includes Bristol Labs, Pfizer, USV, Merck, Squibb, Syntex, Lederle and Genentech. His therapeutic category experience is wide, including cardiovascular, antibiotic, respiratory and oncological pharmaceuticals as well as a broad range of medical devices. His expertise extends to concept generation, copywriting and production services for a wide variety of media outlets, including print, A/V and the Web. Despite the relatively obscure nature of the medical/pharmaceutical advertising arena, Mr. Lumsden's work has received both Clio and Art Director's of New York recognition.
Borys Czernichowski, Art Direction
An award-winning art director, Borys has twenty years of experience in advertising, specializing in creating visually compelling, strategically targeted advertising for the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, medical device, and healthcare industries. Borys received a Masters Degree from the School of Advertising and Design in Gdansk, Poland, and has worked internationally in Poland, Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands, as well as the United States. A talent whose artistic scope is as encompassing as his international experience, Borys is a natural addition to the global virtual team that will be ProSource.
Robin Rogers: Account Coordinator
Robyn's love for graphics began as a typesetter over 30 years ago. Since that time, print media production has undergone a revolution, and she has been a participant and an innovator throughout the process.
Robyn was a partner in Media Quest, a San Francisco based media output and design company in 1990-1994. In the years 1994-1997, she was project manager with Waller Press in South San Francisco, where she was the main contact for clients, including Symantec Corporation, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Landis Designs, and Bank of America. She then moved on to Silicon Valley where she handled all aspects of product releases for Symantec Corporation, including packaging design and production. She has also worked as a freelance project manager for Steinhart & Associates, producing their printed materials and managing their website.

Steve Hix, Photography
Steve Hix has been creating photo imagery for national and international advertising campaigns for nearly twenty years. Prior to this he was a commercial film director, the owner of a mid-sized advertising agency, and a marketing director for a fortune 500 company.
During the past fifteen years, Steve has lived and worked in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Austin, TX. He’s shot everything from the Coca Cola campaign for the winter Olympics to a ten-week assignment for the European Economic Community sponsored by Merck. His client list reads like the Fortune 500.
Steve’s commercial work has been featured in many industry magazines such as Photo District News, Graphis, Print, Archive and Adweek. He was profiled as the featured photographer in a twelve-page Communication Arts article. He has won many national and international photo competitions for both his commercial and fine art images.
Steve has produced fine art photography for over three decades. His works have been exhibited in galleries in Carmel, Santa Fe, New York, London and Paris. He has received art grants from Champion Paper Company and Ocean Spray to pursue special projects he has produced. His works are collected by various corporations, such as Rayovac, which has purchased over 100 of his prints.
Steve and his wife/producer Janet, who currently live in Austin, TX, are thrilled to be a part of the virtual strategic and creative creative team that will be ProSource. Over the past number of years, Steve has worked with other members of the team to produce striking images that many have thought impossible to pull off.
Doug Struthers, Computer Illustration
Over a twenty year career, Doug Struthers has created a unique library of stunning 3D illustrations and animations for the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Since the inception of the 3D medium in the 1980s, he has pioneered the representation of biological complexity with clarity and impact.
In 2004, Doug moved his state-of-the-art studio from the San Francisco Bay Area to beautiful Whidbey Island in the Pacific Northwest. The change allowed him to concentrate on special assignments which challenged and expanded his extensive and unparalleled skill set.

William Brasseur, Information Technology
William brings over ten years of IT experience and has worked for a wide range of clients from small non-profits to large corporations. A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, William has substantial experience in IT Management, Web Development, Network Design, Datacenter Design and Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Having lived in the United States, Canada, France and South Korea, William is a natural addition to the global ProSource team. |
